01 about

Montrose Collective is a creative canvas in the heart of Houston's most culturally eclectic neighborhood.

The project has been imagined by a team of internationally acclaimed designers around the pedestrian. Honest materials detail expressive buildings, unique storefronts and unexpected moments.

Lush balconies frame boutique workspaces. Activated patios welcome neighbors to Houston's newest dining destination. Shaded pathways and courtyards invite guests to explore independent merchants.

Montrose Collective has been created to embrace the energy and inclusiveness of Montrose.

Montrose Collective offers a wide variety of curated spaces ranging from 800 square feet to 35,000 square feet.

Montrose Collective embraces the kinetic and eclectic energy of Montrose. Established in 1911, the four-square-mile area is the literal and figurative heart of the city. Texas Monthly touted Montrose as “Houston’s and Texas’s coolest neighborhood” and “the true birthplace of Texas counterculture”.

Walkable, tree-lined boulevards are dotted with porch-wrapped bungalows and charming coffee shops, neon-lit tattoo parlors and craft cocktail bars. Montrose is the center of Houston’s culinary scene and one of the country’s premier dining destinations with 11 James Beard nominated restaurants within 8 blocks.

Retail brands like Aesop, Le Labo, and recently Universal Standard have chosen this authentic and vibrant neighborhood to enter the Houston market.

Twelve-foot windows overlook heritage live oaks, cypress groves, and planted over-sized balconies that immerse users in nature and offer views from Downtown to the Texas Medical Center. The parking garage directly connects to suites on the third level with no elevator required. From the ground floor, access office suites by way of hospitality-inspired elevator lobby with an opportunity for exclusive use and individual branding. Emerald tile-wrapped exterior stairs float above the garden room and connect office users to food, fitness and service amenities below.

Buzzy patios of six restaurant/cafe spaces energize each corner and will be connected by tree-lined outdoor spaces, a communal garden room, and a thoughtfully selected collection of local and first to market brands and fitness operators. 15 vanilla box boutique spaces will be delivered ready for merchandising with a custom storefront, private restroom and storage space, as well as state-of-the-art HVAC and lighting. Our second level will be a deliberate beauty and service corridor that will benefit from the on-site daytime population while conveniently serving the neighborhood.
