The Free Black Women’s Library HTX in collaboration with Montrose Collective presents to you a Spoken Word series. Under the Soprano Sky draws inspiration from Sonia Sanchez’s colorful and compelling book of poetry, “Under a Soprano Sky,” published in 1978. Join us in the paseo (courtyard) for a magical evening of open-mic poetry/spoken word, music, cocktails, and community.
