We are excited to announce a partnership with CAMH to expand its artist-in-residence program, CAMHLAB with a new gallery at Montrose Collective!
Launched in 2020 in response to the loss of performance and rehearsal spaces throughout Houston, CAMHLAB aims to safely connect artists and audiences, and to support the realization of new and timely works. At Montrose Collective, artists selected by CAMH are provided a light-filled gallery space located in Houston’s most culture-rich and soulful neighborhood to directly share their work and creative process with the public. This partnership will expand the artist-in-residence program beyond the Museum’s galleries and provides a new opportunity for unexpected creative experiences and community engagement.
The four artists and artist collectives selected for this inaugural iteration of CAMHLAB are Eepi Chaad, Two Star Symphony, Frame Dance, and Dana Caldera. Read more about each artist by selecting an image below.
